SERVICE AREA EXPANSION IN BOZEMAN
InterWest Health is pleased to announce the addition of Bozeman Deaconess Hospital to its PPO network in Montana. The addition of the hospital brings the total number of participating providers in Gallatin County to 215, giving InterWest full service capability in the area. The effective date of the expansion is April 1st.
Mark Hawkins, President & CEO of InterWest, welcomes the hospital and its affiliated physicians to the InterWest network. “Their participation will provide enrollees with convenient access to a full complement of health care services locally within the Bozeman area.”
According to Kim Oliver, Director of Marketing and Network Development, the ability to offer full service capability in Bozeman is of significant appeal to payors. “For many years, our clients have expressed interest in our expanding in the Bozeman area. Now that we are able to provide full service capability, they are able to offer a wider range of attractive health insurance products to better meet the needs of the local community.” InterWest is the only leased network to have a contract with the hospital.
InterWest Health is a regional PPO network contracting with over 23,000 hospitals, physicians and other providers in six states: Montana, Idaho, North Dakota, South Dakota, Washington and Wyoming. InterWest is the largest, most comprehensive network available in Montana with over 4,600 providers who have agreed to make their services available under payment arrangements that are competitive with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Montana and other payors. InterWest Health is endorsed by the Montana Medical Association.
The InterWest network is used by a large number of national and regional payors providing health insurance coverage to over 170,000 enrollees in the service area.
